2. Do I need an appointment?
No, appointments are not required. We take walk-ins and can meet after hours. Appointments are appreciated when possible, as it helps us plan to best serve you and your family.
3. Can I use the green burial section without a funeral home?
Yes. Alabama does not require families to work with a funeral home. If you would like to learn more about the process, contact us today. We still encourage families to partner with a funeral home for added support.

5. What can I place at my loved one’s grave?
From November through March, you may place most items on the grave as long as they are reasonable. From March through November, during mowing season, we allow flowers and items placed on the monument only.
6. Do you deliver headstones to other cemeteries?
Yes. We deliver and install memorials, mausoleums, benches, and other pieces at any cemetery across North Alabama.
7. Are mausoleums available at Midway Memorial Gardens?
Yes. We offer several mausoleum options, including private family mausoleums, walk-in mausoleums, and community mausoleum spaces. Each option is designed for above-ground memorialization with personalization available to honor your family’s legacy.
8. Can you engrave or restore existing headstones?
Yes. Our team provides mobile engraving services for on-site additions, as well as professional headstone cleaning and restoration to preserve existing memorials. These services ensure that every headstone remains legible and beautifully maintained for generations.
